Our Mission

To create high quality environments with outstanding levels of care that allow children, young people and the people supporting them to feel safe, nurtured, loved and cared for.

To achieve this by building trusting relationships through shared positive experiences that enable the children to recover together with us from previous adversity and flourish.

Our Homes

All our homes are built to the highest standards, to enable us to provide the best care and environment for the children we have to stay with us. Central and Southern Homes want to ensure we are equipped to offer the most optimistic outcomes to all children and young people that live in our homes and as such ensure;

  • Children and young people are genuinely at the heart of the care or support they receive and this is achieved through building positive relationships.

  • All staff are trained to an incredibly high standard for the sector to ensure to ensure they have all the tools needed to best support children and young people

  • We have an integrated therapeutic approach that is supported through our multidisciplinary work with Psycaf

  • All our homes are warm, homely and high quality homes to live in with exceptional resources available.

  • All staff trained to level 3 in safeguarding and all managers trained to level 5 to ensure our homes are as safe as they can possibly be at all times.

  • All staff are trained in a PACE approach that focuses Playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy. PACE is a way of thinking, feeling, communicating and behaving that aims to make the child feel safe.

Our approaches are evidence based, regularly reviewed and in line with current best practice guidance supported through our links with the independent children's homes association, dialogue, the safeguarding network, psycaf and the restraint reduction network.
